EMPLOYEE APPRECIATION:
LINDSEY BOUCHER
October 5, 2021

At Eastern Valley Electric, we value our team and the effort they put in everyday. Their consistency allows us to price jobs competitively, knowing they will get the job done and exceed our expectations.

We’d like to put a name to the face of one of these trustworthy team members: Lindsey Boucher.

Lindsey has been with the company for 4 years, and is currently site foreman at our “Skyline” project. He started as a junior foreman in our early days. After shadowing foremen on a few jobs, he took his first big role as site foreman at “The Wesley”. Since then he has led our nearly complete "Skyline" project, finishing its rough-in stage with little input from myself or Andrew.

Our favourite quality of Lindsey is his positive attitude which appears even during difficult stages of a project. Lindsey is an outside-the-box thinker and can come up with creative solutions to overcome challenges faced on site.

Lindsey also reflects our company mantra of "planning and collaboration". Before project kickoff, Lindsey is already taking drawings home to fully immerse himself in his next project. He understands we are in an evolving industry and is able to bring forward new requirements shown on engineered drawings before project start. This allows us to discuss these new requirements ahead of time, avoiding non-compliant installations late in the build.

Outside of work, Lindsey is an outdoors man who enjoys camping, quading, hunting, fishing, and BBQ. He is the chef of his household and is often found smoking meat on his “Big Green Egg”. If Lindsey were to leave the electrical industry, it would be to start a food truck specializing in smoked meats. He is the company cook for site BBQ’s and EVE’s annual retreat.

We greatly appreciate having him on the EVE team and hope he continues to grow within our company and take many more projects to completion.
