Eastern Valley Electric was contracted to perform the full electrical scope of work for this mixed-use project, including the coordination of the BC Hydro scope. This building is 144 units, with 5 storeys of wood-frame and 2 storeys of concrete parkade. The street level of this building is a combination of parkade, residential, and 2 commercial retail units.

New Langley City regulations require developers to install in-slab conduit and wiring for future electric vehicle charging to 20% of all parking stalls. This is in addition to the typical 100% in-slab conduit to all parking stalls. This requires us to allow electrical load for 100% of the stalls in our electrical service design.

This project consists of one 5 storey wood frame building, and 1 level of concrete parkade. 104 units in total. Conforming to the new building requirements for the City of Langley, EVE installed provision for electric vehicle charging at all parking stalls.

Eastern Valley was contracted to perform the full electrical scope of work for this multi-family project, including the coordination of the BC Hydro scope. This is a multi phase project which started in 2016 and is still in progress. Phase One, two apartment buildings totalling 157 units, on 2 levels of parkade. Phase Two, 57 apartment units on a 2 level parkade and 63 units of residential apartments and townhomes on a 3 level parkade. Phase Three, 3 storey townhomes, total 26. Phase Four, two apartments totalling 121 units on a 2 level parkade. The project is currently in Phase 4 and EVE has performed all phases.

Eastern Valley has handled electrical facility upgrades and maintenance to the 6 acre U-Lock lot in Chilliwack. This has included various facility upgrades and maintenance which is sometimes challenging in scope due to the size of this facility. This scope has included everything from maintenance to upgrades of existing systems, to troubleshooting and repair of various electrical components throughout the facility.

This project consisted of the design and build of the electrical system for an off grid hop processing plant. The old 1960’s European equipment required custom control panel fabrication and install, complete with variable frequency drives and specialty transformers.

In this building expansion, Eastern Valley took on the electrical scope for doubling the working space of a 1920's tattoo studio. The owner wanted everything kept relevant for the original building time period. They requested a completely exposed metallic pipe network for all power requirements.

Nature’s Touch Processing Plant

Nature’s Touch

Eastern Valley installed power requirements for new assembly lines at this food processing plant. This older building required extensive troubleshooting of the existing electrical system and an addition of a small power distribution system. While work was ongoing, the processing plant had to maintain regular operating hours, this meant the majority of our scope was done afterhours to ensure no facility downtime for the client. All work performed during operating hours required our employees to follow FoodSafe regulations (smocks, hairnets).

Electrically, this project has a few interesting elements we’re excited to bring to life. An indoor high voltage unit substation in the underground parking area feeds five sub-electrical rooms spanning both ATC Phase 1 and Phase 2 buildings, ensuring a seamless and robust power supply for the entire community.
